After a weekend visit to Mt. Field, I have dragged out a few of my favourite pics from the area. This shot, taken in the alpine area of the Park, beautifully highlights the stark contrast between the shades of the live trees and the stark, bleak beauty of the dead trunks around them. Mt Field has to be one of my fav. places in Tas with everything from temperate rainforest to the alpine areas and a huge range of walks to enjoy (not to mention the fact that it's only an hour from Hobart!) so many of my favourite shots also come form the area
